Welcome to Guitar Ninjas – Green Belt
You’ve reached Level 4: Green Belt, the final stage of the beginner phase. By this point, you’ve built a solid foundation through White, Yellow, and Orange Belts — now it’s time to take those skills further and prepare for the challenges of intermediate guitar playing.
In Green Belt, you’ll continue with 10 focused study pieces:
- 5 riffs designed to strengthen your rhythm, timing, and chord fluency
- 5 licks to expand your lead playing and technical control
The big focus at this level is preparing you for barre chords and movable shapes. These are essential skills that unlock the fretboard and give you the freedom to play in any key. By the end of Green Belt, you’ll be ready to tackle these confidently and move into the intermediate stage of your Guitar Ninja journey.
Here’s how it works:
- Each level has its own book and online course with step-by-step videos.
- To level up, simply complete the checklist at the start of your book, along with the activities in your Guitar Ninjas Workbook.
- Green Belt typically takes 3–6 months to complete, depending on your practice habits.
